Individual families weave right in their homes or centralized cottage weaving houses. The rug styles are more geometrized and less formal. Like City Rugs, these rugs have patterns that have been reproduced in multiple sizes; however village weavers do not do exact color matching. This means there will be inherently unique characteristics that pertain to each rug.
