They suit rugged rustic settings, minimalist or industrial furnishings, and they can be found in a wide array of styles and colors to suit European, Classic Americana, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and/or any setting with an undeniably regal flair. The types that dominate the market at large are from India, China, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran and Nepal. Other exotic varieties are made in the Caucuses, Egypt, England, and France. These are not the only countries that weave genuine Hand Knotted Oriental Rugs, but these particular varieties dominate the world market at large, and can extend into thousands of varieties.
