The Transitional Setting
It’s a “mixing” that’s the simplest way to describe Transitional! It flows superfluously into either a Traditional or Modern setting, and facilitates a mixture of both design themes for the eclectic decor aficionado. It’s kind of like updating classic and teaching it to be more contemporary, or taking modern to visit the past. It is an established part of the Interior Design Locus of styling methods, and its adherents thank Designers as diverse as Gianni Versace, Frank Lloyd Wright, and even William Morris for its emergence.
